Hi Dawn,

I hope things are well! Not sure what link you are thinking of, it might have been a while ago....

I did some searches in the forum and found these links that I think will help you out:
traveling-to-from-the-camino/topic4424.html
post19261.html
http://www76.pair.com/navarro/location.html
http://www.eurocheapo.com/madrid/hotel/ ... iesco.html

If anyone else have some good places in Madrid to sleep, please feel free to add to this.

Greetings from Santiago,
Ivar
NB! Fall has come to Santiago, about 6-7c in the morning, about 20c mid day.
Remember to add your pilgrimage to the pilgrim calendar ...and maybe get a forum badge?

I always stay at Hostal Sta. Isabel. It is clean, very reasonably priced, in a really great location by Anton Martin market and the swingin´ethnicity of Lavapies, and (sometimes) English is spoken. It´s at http://www.hostalsantaisabel.com.
Oh, and they have the coolest elevator/lift, all beveled glass and leather cushions!
