albergues

Postby Gabi on 04 Jul 2007, 20:02

after walking from le puy to finisterre last summer i will go back this year to walk from lisbon to finisterre. last year my mother was coming with me for the last 3 weeks but she couldn't continue to finisterre. this year she won't have more than a week to come with me, so i thought it would be nice for her to join me from santiago to finisterre. but now i was wondering, if it's possible for her at all to stay at the pilgrim albergues as she would only do the part from santiago to finisterre. does anybody know if she can stay in the albergues?

i'm sure your mother can stay in the albergues from santiago to finisterre. she will need to get a pilgrim passport for 'camino de finisterre' at negreira (i forgot how to spell it). it's a normal white photocopied paper, and with that your mother can stay in all albergues along the way!

Of course she can! She only need a normal pilgrim credential and beginning to walk in Santiago. I did it two years ago!

Buen Camino for both
