Google introduces street view for Spain

Postby Peter Robins on 28 Oct 2008, 09:02

Four Spanish cities so far: Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia. Try Seville cathedral (no sign of any pilgrims, though)
The Galician press has reported that Google's camera van has been spotted in Corunna, so no doubt there will be more cities in due course.

This is great news!

El Pais also mentions this today. It seems like the cities that is first out in Spain with the Google Street View is Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Sevilla.

Does this open up for virtual pilgrimages, clicking your way from Saint Jean Pied de Port? :?

Saludos,
Ivar

I doubt we'll be seeing street view for SJPdP any time soon :-)

You can though make a virtual pilgrimage to Santiago . . . Bernabeu
