Can´t believe we´ve been nearly 3 weeks on the Camino and are a day and a half from Leon! Things are going well thanks to preparation and suggestions from this forum. So far no albergue has turned us away, but this is also only the first day of July. The meseta has been quite warm and we have been up and going early to compensate- however much later than many in the albergues!!! I read Rambler´s thoughts and agree with them. Traveling with my daughter is wonderful, but certainly not like traveling alone. When one plans their Camino that certainly needs to be considered. We met a lovely young Romanian girl on her third Camino, her first one alone. She said she just had to do it alone after doing it with others. For now, it´s on to Santiago!!!
