La Voz de Galicia has a story today that include some pilgrim statistics from the albergue in Padron.
In July 2007 1838 pilgrims stayed at the albergue, while in July 2008 the number was 1257, 581 pilgrims less. The article also mentions that even with this "low" number, July 2008 had more pilgrims than in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.
