Mattresses?

Postby A&E on 17 Apr 2008, 15:58

We're leaving from Porto on April 27th for camino portugues.
Are albergues crowded this time of year? Should we take our own mattresses with us?

im just back from the camino from Porto to Santiago and it was not crowded, but as you get nearer santiago the numbers increase a bit. The albergues are great and are clean and tidy. They are either donativo or in Galicia 3 euro a night !!. lots of beds and lots of good mattresses. Enjoy, but bring a rain jacket for galicia. jc
