Frida Kahlo exhibition

Postby ivar on 01 Nov 2005, 17:01

My wife and I went to the Frida Kahlo expedition today. It is located in Rua de Vilar, between the tourist office and the cathedral. Free entrance, and well worth a visit if you will be in town before it closes January 20th 2006.

The exhibition is located over 3 floors and descriptions are written in Castellano, Gallego and English.

1st floor, shows two small 15 and 22 minute film clips about here life. The two floors above have a mix of paintings, pencil drawings and pictures of Frida Kahlo.

The expedition seems like it is a success, we had to wait 5 minutes outside before we could enter. They needed to move people along before letting more in.
