I have Jose Carreras tickets

Postby ivar on 10 Dec 2004, 19:31

Me and my wife went to a Jose Carreras consert in San Francisco a few years back. Now when he is in Galicia we just had to get tickets.

I'll let you know how it was Monday.

Hi Ivar,
Just noticed your posting of last December.
A friend and I will be in Santiago September 20-21 (out Sept. 22), after completing the Camino Portugues. If you do find out about a good concert on either night, will you please let me know, so we can book tickets as well. Thanks. Cheers. Ilona

Hi Ilona,

I will keep an eye open. Sometimes these concerts are not announced until a few weeks before the performance.

Also you might have a look here:

..for the latest.

Greetings from Santiago,

Thanks Ivar. Will check the turism website periodically. As you say, there is nothing scheduled for late September yet. Cheers, Ilona

I was just thinking, if you are traveling to/from Santiago via Madrid/Barcelona or maybe London, I think there are better chances of seeing some "bigger" names there than in Santiago. Last year was holy year and we had some big names, but not sure how it will be this year.

...just a thought.

Hello Ivar,
We'll be walking from Oporto to Santiago, and would love to see whatever form of traditional art is on during our stay in Santiago. It could be flamenco, classical guitar, theater, opera, concert, anything local, or a good foreign performer as well. Cheers. Thanks. Ilona
