Cathedral reintroduces pilgrim prayer vigils

Postby Peter Robins on 24 Jul 2006, 08:58

The cathedral authorities are reintroducing the pilgrim prayer vigils mentioned in the Codex Calixtinus. The first was held last Saturday, and they will be held each Saturday 21.00-22.00 until the end of September. There will also be a special one tonight for the eve of the feast of St James. It's emphasised these are for pilgrims to the shrine of St James, and not for tourists.
