How interesting, surfan and Iver, thanks for the info. Here's the thing, if it's 7:07 am here, now, it would be 13:07 pm, ur time, now, but I believe Iver is saying that it would be that, + two hours, Compostela time, is this correct? Am trying to set my CSJ forum time correctly. Best, xm

if you're in Miami, you're on E Time, which is GMT-5, GMT-4 when you're on daylight savings. Spain is GMT+1 in winter and GMT+2 in summer (even in Galicia which is well west of Greenwich). So, yes, E Time is generally 6 hours behind Santiago. But to add to the complications, the US changes to daylight savings at a different time to Europe, so for a couple of weeks each year this is not the case.

If you really want to be exact, you could change your profile to reflect each change relative to GMT, but I would imagine you have better things to do.
