This site is run by Ivar Rekve, living and working in Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

The site is divided into 3 parts:

1. The Pilgrim forum
2. The Camino Wiki
3. There is also one part of the site that has some Pilgrim related news and updates.

As a result of the success of this site, a new venture is just about to start up (March 2009), namely the Camino Travel Center, a place in Santiago de Compostela that offer services for pilgrims traveling to, and arriving into Santiago de Compostela.

Partners

This site has close links with other Camino de Santiago related websites. Our goal is to provide future and present pilgrims with varied and quality information related to the Caminos de Santiago.

• The Confraternity of Saint James provides a wide range of resources about the Camino de Santiago, including descriptions of all the major routes in Spain, France and other countries, pilgrim guides (giving routes, distances, and facilities), all of which are available through an on-line Bookshop, a picture gallery (searchable by subject, such as Roman bridges, and using All Terms/Any Terms searching), and an on-line catalogue listing the contents of the CSJ’s large library.

• The Picture Pages of the Camino contains stage-by-stage illustrated pages for 8 of the major routes in Spain, most translated into Spanish, French, German, Italian, and other languages. There is a large section of links to other websites classified by their content, and you can also register your Camino when you reach Santiago.

• The Walking Pilgrim includes a comprehensive listing of pilgrimage routes, both historical and contemporary, throughout Europe: under continuous development, it is an essential resource.

   Hi Ivar

   My name is Jon Drane. I walked the Camino de santiago in Sep 2006 with my wife and three children and wrote a book called The Way of a Thousand Arrows.

   I have also created a new web page called “Find A Pilgrim” which helps pilgrims to reconnect with each other if they lost each other along the way. The Find A Pilgrim page is at
